The second suspect in a home invasion incident in January has been arrested by Sarnia Police.
Thirty-three year-old Daniel Corlett is now in custody in St. Thomas awaiting a court appearance today (Wednesday).
The home invasion occurred Jan. 29th at a north-end residence where two men forced their way into the home and assaulted an individual inside before fleeing the scene with a third person.
Corlett was already facing numerous charges including break and enter, assault with a weapon, point firearm, possession of a firearm while prohibited, and several fail-to-comply offences.
Corlett now faces the following charges:
5 counts possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order
1 count failure to comply with undertaking
2 counts failure to comply with release order
3 counts fail to comply with probation order
1 count unauthorized possession of a weapon
1 count assault with a weapon
1 count break and enter
1 count firearm, use while committing an offence
1 count possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose
1 count pointing a firearm
