This Saturday, take a plunge for children facing childhood cancer.
The Port Stanley Polar Bear Dip returns to the frigid water at Little Beach and adventure-seekers are encouraged to dive in for the cause.
Proceeds support local families who are coping with their child’s cancer as well as vital pediatric cancer research at London Health Sciences Centre.
Registration is at 10 a.m. at the the Masonic Centre, 42703 Fruit Ridge Line, with the dip beginning at 11 a.m.
A lunch, silent auction and awards ceremony follows.
So far, 229 people have registered to take part and the event is at 82% of the $80,000 fundraising goal.
