The County of Elgin advises the King George lift bridge will be closed for three days in February for maintenance work. It will be out of commission to vehicle and pedestrian travel starting Feb. 15 and reopen on Feb. 18. A 4-km detour will re-direct traffic down Carlow Road, Warren Street and Colborne Street.
