She has been described as the heart and soul of whatever workplace she is in.
Marlene Welsh previously worked in former MPP Jeff Yurek’s constituency office and now works at the County of Elgin.
Welsh says working with great teams at both offices has made it much easier to handle any stressful situations.
At the county, Welsh is dealing with several departments under the one umbrella, giving it what she calls “a family vibe.”
Welsh is praised for her customer service skills and passion for people. She says it comes down to being able to work alongside individuals with differing personalities.
She attributes her communication and organizational skills as contributing to her being such a popular and valued employee.
