It’s a fun day for the teams participating but ultimately its all about kids.
The 2023 Big Brothers Big Sisters Curl for Kids runs March 11 and interim executive director Carolyn Johnson stresses the importance of Curl for Kids as a fundraiser to improve future outcomes for young people.
All teams will curl a pair of six-end games with an intermission/lunch break between games.
The theme is Fabulous 4s, explains Johnson.
Prizes will be awarded to the top fundraiser and the most spirited team from the bonspiel.
Dress up as your favourite musical band or something random that comes in fours.
If you can’t make it out that day, then support a team with a financial donation, urges Johnson.
