It quite possibly is one of the more unique donations to the St. Thomas branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.
Nineteen-year-old Harrison Daniel of St. Thomas gifted the Legion with money he received in tips while pumping fuel at the Pioneer gas station on Talbot Street in the city. Over $2,000 he collected around Christmas.
Harrison tells myFM the motivation for the donation is all about making a change within the community.
He explained why he chose the Legion as the recipient.
He is already looking ahead to his next project.
Daniel said the credit is not all his, it’s thanks to those in the community who were generous with their tips.
Daniel has a simple philosophy. You either build your own dreams or build someone else’s.
