This Saturday, Yurek Pharmacy will play host to the 3rd annual “Toys for Trish” collection drive, in support of Christmas Care.
Siblings Margaret Wonch and Steve Bond, pharmacist at Yurek’s, are back with the event to honour their mother, Trish Bond, who was a volunteer for over 10 years at Christmas Care, before passing away.
Bond notes it was always important to her that every child has a Merry Christmas.
The toy drive will be collecting new unwrapped toys and monetary donations and take place from 9 a.m. until noon Saturday at 519 Talbot Street.
