Two individuals have been charged following the theft of multiple vehicles from Goodwill’s Used Cars in Aylmer.
Police note that two male suspects attended the dealership last Wednesday around 1:45 a.m., forcing entry through a rear door leading into the shop area.
An intrusion alarm was activated resulting in a response from security, but not before the culprits stole multiple key fobs and a 2018 Dodge Caravan that was on the lot.
Three individuals then returned to Goodwill’s on Friday morning at 6:45, where they used the previously obtained key fobs to steal a 2019 Hyundai, 2016 Ford Transit, and a 2014 Dodge Journey.
The Dodge Caravan, Journey and Ford Transit has since been recovered by London Police, however the 2019 Hyundai is still outstanding.
A 40 year old male from London and 23 year old female from Southwold have been arrested and charged with possession of stolen property as a result.
The investigation is on going and anyone with information is asked to call Aylmer Police or Crimestoppers.
