Rob Flack, MPP for Elgin-Middlesex-London along with MPP Monte McNaughton last week announced over $2 million dollars worth of funding for local non-profits.
Among the recipients was the YWCA St. Thomas-Elgin, who received $190,300 to help with investments in critical needs, including hiring and training new staff, upgrading facilities, and introducing new programming and vital services.
The money comes from the Resilient Communities Fund, with MPP Flack noting “We are pleased to support our local non-profit organizations with needed funding that ultimately supports our communities with a broad range of meaningful services.” Adding, “Our government’s commitment to Southwestern Ontario is strengthened by the Resilient Communities Fund.”
