As myFM first reported back in May, Canada Day fireworks will return to St. Thomas. But thanks to our local Kinsmen, there is more in store for Pinafore Park this Friday.
While a scaled back event is still anticipated, Matt Sharpe, Membership Director with the Kinsmen Club of St. Thomas explains what has been added to the lineup.
A number of tasty treats will also be available for purchase, courtesy of Why Not Cookies and Snack City Popnotch.
Sharpe notes that while it’s not the show they would have hoped to put on, there is a lot to look forward to!
For those hoping to host their own fireworks display with friends and family, Sharpe adds that the St. Thomas Kinsmen can also help with that!
And the best part about purchasing your fireworks from the St. Thomas Kinsmen is that all money raised goes back into the community.
The St. Thomas Kinsmen Fireworks trailer, located in the Geerlinks Home Hardware parking lot, 295 Wellington St., will be open on Tuesday from 2 to 9 p.m., Wednesday from noon to 9 p.m., and both Thursday & Friday 9 a.m. till Dusk.
