With a number of special events, festivals and markets set to take place this weekend across the region, it can only mean one thing- summer is officially here!
Start your Friday evening off with a eat-in Roast Beef Dinner hosted by the St. Thomas Anglican Church, stop in at the Wildflowers Farm Market After Dark or purchase your last minute tickets the Airfest St. Thomas “Signature Gala Event.”
It’s a busy Saturday for St. Thomas and Elgin County with a Yard Sale, BBQ and Empty Alcohol Bottle Collection hosted by the Sunshine Optimist Club taking place in the Van Pelt’s Parking lot beginning at 8 a.m.
Elsewhere, a Junk In The Trunk Sale, BBQ and Strawberry Social hosted at the Community of Christ Church will also kick off at 8 a.m.
You can experience Life In The Talbot Settlement at Backus-Page House Museum in Wallacetown with the special event running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and continuing on Sunday.
Spend the afternoon and evening supporting the The Grace Cafe, The Inn and St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation by taking in Summerfest 2022, running 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the St. Anne’s Centre. Featuring Green River Revival, Canada’s Amazing Tribute to CCR and John Fogerty!
The myFM team will be quite busy this Saturday as we say Hello to Summer in Tillsonburg and take in the amazing sights and sounds of Airfest 2022!
If you can’t make it to Airfest for Saturday, the fun continues Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Then, end the weekend off by participating in our local VON’s Activity Challenge, running from 9 a.m. to noon.
