Tomorrow is Election Day in Ontario and as we prepare to head to the polls, here is what you’ll need to bring with you in order to cast your vote.
myFM spoke with Carrie Woolley, Returning Officer for Elgin-Middlesex-London who gave us the run down on everything residents need to know before casting their ballot.
With two Federal Elections taking place since our last Provincial Election, Woolley reminds voters that operations are a little bit different.
She adds that it also allows results to come in a bit quicker.
With a number of first time voters preparing to cast their ballots, Woolley notes that errors on the voters list might mean they did not recieve a voter information card. She assures the teens that they will have the opportunity to vote.
The same goes for all residents who are able to vote. Woolley says they have been receiving a number of phone calls about errors on voting cards, but assures residents that if they show up to their designated poll location, officials will assist with any issues.
She adds that residents can also utilize the new Elections Ontario App, which has your voter information card built right in.
