It’s Future Leaders Day on 94.1 myFM presented by the St. Thomas Home Show. We are shining a light on five individuals, 25 years of age and younger who are inspiring the next generation in St. Thomas-Elgin.
As the Summer Camp Director at Pearce Williams, Bella Cunningham prides herself on bettering the lives of the campers that come through their doors.
In fact, it was on a day when Cunningham was a camper herself that her life changed forever.
That one day at camp sparked something in Cunningham, leading her towards a career of helping children and youth.
Looking back, Cunningham notes her passion for helping others started at home, with her dad passing down his vast knowlegde.
When it comes to advice she has for others hoping to obtain a leadership role, Cunningham says to just get involved in whatever you can.
She adds that as someone who gets the opportunity to work so closely with children and youth, it’s important to her that they know they have someone in their corner.
