Sclafani stresses it’s a way actors and crew can stay close to the theatre and enjoy comfortable accommodations while getting into their roles so their best work can be done.
Live summer theatre first arrived in Port Stanley in 1978 and 1992 marked the beginning of what has become the Port Stanley Festival Theatre.
This summer the theatre is offering a half-dozen productions. Made possible through a small army of volunteers, including billets who share their homes with actors and crew members.
Sclafani outlines the benefits offered to billets.

It’s definitely an intriguing way to get up close to a production this summer at Port Stanley Festival Theatre.
Sclafani notes it may just lead to a life-long friendship with someone in show business.
