It all started when I was 7 years old…I knew I wanted to be a doctor (there is a birthday cake picture to prove it!). I have been fortunate to see that dream come true. As I have grown in this profession, I realize that my blue-collar, Minnesota upbringing has given me the ability to interpret the complexity of “good health” and explain it in a way that makes sense, to each of my patients. I can use my medical knowledge and tailor my advice to each unique person.
I love connecting with my patients-I am humbled each week by what they teach me. Collaborating with other health professionals fulfills me, and also allows my patients to get the best, comprehensive care.
As I have “grown up” as a doctor, I realize how important it is to take care of the “whole” person-cosmetically, physically, medically, sexually, and with mental health.
My practice has gradually expanded to include arthritic medical conditions, optimal hormone health for better aging, intimate health and urinary wellness, as well as a multitude of cosmetic treatments. And there is more to come!
I love what I do and I love that I get to do this within the community of St Thomas. We are all stronger when we lift each other up.
