Santa Claus is coming to town and the folks at North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) are helping us keep track of the big guy during his adventure around the world.
That was Colonel Daniel J. Knight, Director of Manpower and Personnel for NORAD and United States Northern Command.
They put all of their technology and manpower to work to make sure they track St. Nick’s every move.
While NORAD has state of the art technology, Santa’s magic powers put them to the test.
The team at NORAD doesn’t keep this information secret, families across North America are able to follow along to see Mr. Claus’s location all night.
NORAD has been tracking Santa each Christmas Eve since 1955.
