Although schools remain closed as students begin their winter break, a number of new COVID-19 cases have been linked to local schools, including the declaration of an outbreak at Dunwich-Dutton Public School.
The Thames Valley District School Board announced the outbreak Tuesday, which consists of 2 cases. They also reported 3 new cases linked to Central Elgin Collegiate Institute.
Additional active cases across the TVDSB include 1 case each at Elgin Court Public School, Mitchell Hepburn Public School, and Pierre Elliott Trudeau French Immersion Public School.
The London District School Board reports 3 active cases linked to St. Joseph’s Catholic High School and 1 at St. Anne’s Catholic Elementary School, both in St. Thomas.
