With the administration of youth COVID-19 vaccines ramping up at the Memorial Arena, St. Thomas Nissan made a very special delivery Thursday.
Boxes of teddy bears were dropped off to the team at Southwestern Public Health to give to these brave youngsters while they receive their vaccine.
Darrin Lester Owner of St. Thomas Nissan explains the reasoning for the heartfelt donation.
We spoke with Laura Anguish Program Manager of the COVID-19 Mass Immunization Clinics with SWPH, who says she knows these while brings some smiles.
She adds that the vaccination team has been so impressed with all the 5 to 12 year old’s coming through their door.
With things about to get busier down at the Memorial Arena due to booster eligibility expansion, the teddy bears are sure to be put to good use.
