Elgin’s newest Christmas market opens tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon in Aylmer.
The Old Imperial Farmer’s Market will operate with its Christmas Market from noon until 8 p.m. Saturday and then again Nov. 27, Dec. 4 and the 11th.
Organizer Terry Dueck says more than three dozen vendors will be at the market along with a photo booth for Christmas cards, live music and a full-size decorated Christmas tree.
He adds over the winter renovations will continue to prepare for a full-time farmer’s market expected to open in May.
The aim is to make the Old Imperial Farmer’s Market a true famer’s market explains Dueck.
The market is located at 516 John Street North with plenty of free parking. It will be open from noon to 8 p.m. all four Saturdays with myFm on location from noon until 2 p.m.
