
With 3 COVID-19 cases now active, an outbreak at Pierre Elliott Trudeau French Immersion Public School has been declared by the Thames Valley District School Board.
During the same daily report from the board, a case was also announced at Kettle Creek Public School in Port Stanley. One day earlier, a single case of COVID-19 was also reported at Parkside Collegiate Institute in St. Thomas.
All schools do remain open at this time, and Southwestern Public Health continues to work with close contacts to provide specific testing advice.
Currently, there are 10 active cases of COVID-19 in schools across St. Thomas and Elgin, with each 3 at McGregor Public School and Pierre Elliott Trudeau, and 1 each at Davenport, Elgin Court, Kettle Creek and Parkside.
