Laughter greeted the kick-off last week of the long-delayed summer season at the Port Stanley Festival Theatre. And that felt oh so good to comedian Chris Gibbs, whose one-man show A Legal Alien welcomed patrons back to the lakeside theatre.
The stand-up comedy show about Canadians by someone who isn’t, offers up an infectious brand of humour whose only side effects are ongoing bouts of laughter.
Gibbs understands what we likely crave most right now after what seems like a lengthy hibernation is a silly, fun time.
You never know what to expect during the show and if anything strange has happened to Gibbs during the day, expect to hear about it.
Every performance of this family friendly stand-up show is an adventure in laughs.
Born in the land of William Shakespeare and now right at home in the land of William Shatner, Chris Gibbs’ recounting of A Legal Alien runs through Sept. 4.
Tickets are available at the PSFT box office or by calling 519-782-4353. Limited seating for each performance due to COVID-19 restrictions.
