Sunrise Small Engine and Rental is holding their 2nd Annual Charity Car Wash tomorrow, this time in support of Hospice of Elgin.
Owner Barry Lynam says this year, 100% of car wash proceeds will support Hospice of Elgin, Elgin County’s first Hospice coming soon.
Lynam says he sat down with his sister and they decided Hospice of Elgin would be the perfect recipient of the proceeds being raised in honour of their parents.
Lynam says it’s a great chance to support the community, but adds that he and his wife also have a connection to the new hospice.
The car wash will be running from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, with cost being your choice of a charitable donation.
Raffle and prize draws will also be taking place throughout the day, thanks to some individuals and a group of local businesses explains Lynam.
