Starting next Monday (July 5) St. Thomas Public Library will re-open to the public for limited service. This includes the pickup of holds, browsing for and borrowing items, the use of public computers and microfilm readers by appointment.
Quick visits are encouraged due to capacity limits with seating areas and public washrooms not available. Masks are required and COVID-19 precautions are in place.
“While we are thankful to have connected with our community through curbside pickup, we recognize that we provide other valuable services that meet real needs in our community, such as access to computers,” advises library CEO Heather Robinson.
“We are confident that we can now provide amore significant level of service in a safe and effective way.”
The library will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Returns will still be accepted through the bin at the front entrance of the library.
