The Thames Valley District School Board has announced another positive case of COVID-19 coming out of Forest Park Public School in St. Thomas.
The positive case was confirmed by Southwestern Public Health and Thames Valley immediately notified staff, students, parents and guardians at the school.
SWPH is currently investigating the case and is in the process of identifying close contacts.
There are now 12 active school cases in St. Thomas/Elgin including 3 at Forest Park Public School, 2 at New Sarum Public School, 2 at Mitchell Hepburn Public School, 2 at St. Anne’s Catholic Elementary School and 1 each at Parkside Collegiate Institute, Central Elgin Collegiate Institute and Assumption Catholic Elementary School.
