With the city of St. Thomas now officially in the Red-Control Zone, the Joe Thornton Community Centre is welcoming back patrons on a registration basis.
The city has announced that the Joe Thornton Community Centre will reopen beginning today (Feb 16) for leisure skate, pickleball as well as use of the walking track.
Spaces are limited to just 10 people for each activity, with online registration necessary.
A course calendar has been created, outlining the times and activities available each day.
Each booking consists of an hour time slot, with walking track use available free of charge and skating and pickleball programs costing $3 each.
All participants will be asked to complete a daily COVID-19 self assessment prior to entering the facility and face coverings will be required and must always be worn while in all public spaces when not on the ice or engaged in a sports activity.
