The pandemic has forced organizers of the Wiarton Willie Festival to move Tuesday’s prediction day online.
South Bruce Peninsula Mayor Janice Jackson says people will still be able to see whether Willie will see his shadow at his usual time.
This is the 65th edition of the event and Jackson will be part of the announcement but understands it won’t be the same compared to the previous 64 years of the festival.
She says Willie and the festival have helped put Wiarton on the world stage.
