The St. Thomas Police Service have announced that charges are indeed pending against the “Freedom Rally” organizers.
The STPS report that evidence has been presented and consultation with the Crown Attorney’s Office is complete. At this time, the STPS will move forward with the charges against the 2 individuals identified as organizers of the recent “Freedom Rally” in St. Thomas.
Police confirmed the rally took place in the city back on Saturday November the 14th where approximately two hundred people gathered to protest COVID-19 safety protocols.
They report that more information will be released regarding the specific charges in the coming days.
