And now, the artist based out of London will have his work serve as a backdrop at Veterans Memorial Garden in St. Thomas.
Andrew Lewis explains how his panoramic poppy mural came to grace the approximately 2,500 square foot back wall of the small plaza on Princess Avenue.
In addition to the heat and humidity over the past month, Lewis says the oversized canvas has presented some unique challenges.
He adds the giant mural should be completed this month.
