The Elgin County OPP Marine Unit and Central Elgin Fire Rescue are currently on scene in Port Stanley attempting to remove a boat that sunk in the harbour.
At this time very few details are known as to what led to the incident but the OPP does report that the vessel struck the pier in the early morning hours on Wednesday.
No injuries have been reported as police continue to investigate the incident.
