As announced yesterday by Premier Doug Ford, starting Tuesday sports fields, off-leash dog parks and tennis courts can re-open to the public. St. Thomas Mayor Joe Preston reminds residents if you’re visiting one of these facilities in the city, social distancing remains in effect.
That includes play on the city’s disc golf courses where Preston says, staff will have them ready for use sometime next week, but not necessarily on Tuesday.
Preston adds playground equipment remains closed at this time as is the Kettle Creek off-leash dog park north of the city on Mapleton Line.
