A 33 London man is facing over a dozen charges after the St. Thomas Police made an arrest early Thursday morning. At around 2:30 a.m. officers observed a stolen vehicle enter a parking lot of a restaurant on the west end of Talbot Street. The lone occupant of the vehicle was taken into custody and during the arrest a small amount of cash and crystal methamphetamine was seized from the suspect.
Police also located an additional 39 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 49 Hydromorphone pills inside the stolen vehicle. In total approximately $5140 worth of illicit drugs and $1655 in cash was seized. As a result 33 year old Bradley Richard Martin was charged with two counts Drug Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, two counts Possession of Stolen Property and Operate Motor Vehicle without a Licence.
Police also executed a search warrant on Martin’s storage unit in London where officers located a .25 caliber loaded handgun, loaded zip gun, ammunition, a large quantity of swords and stolen property inside the unit.
As a result Martin has been additionally charged with two counts Careless Storage of a Firearm, one count Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, one count Possession of a Loaded Prohibited Weapon, one count Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, four counts Breach of Release Conditions and one count Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000.
