It’s been a busy couple of days for St. Thomas Police.
On January 2nd, police investigated three shoplifting incidents.
A 51-year-old St. Thomas man was arrested for theft at the 1063 Talbot Street plaza.
At 6:30 pm, a woman reported to have loaded up her cart at a downtown grocery store, left the location without paying.
Another female suspect is also outstanding from that day at a retail outlet where she entered, paid for some items, but not for liquor stashed in her backpack.
Police ask that anyone with information on these two incidents to contact them.
On January 3rd, officers found a 38-year-old man wanted on a probation warrant. He was taken into custody and has a future court date.
Then officers received a report of a break and enter to a garage in the court house area. The break in took place over the past two weeks. A Trek Marlin 5 bicycle was taken.
That same day, officers attended an area shelter for a disturbance. Police learned a 36-year-old man assaulted another oatron and caused property damage inside the shelter.
He was arrested and charged for assault and mischief.
