Aylmer will be hosting their 75th annual Santa Claus Parade this weekend. The event that is hosted each year by the Aylmer Kinsmen has been a big part of the towns traditions. The theme for this years parade is “75 Years of Christmas Magic” and is meant to honour the efforts of all the past members of the Aylmer Kinsmen who have made the event what it is today.
The parade will be taking place on Saturday (Nov 23) and will begin at 2 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come out and watch the floats as well as bring your kids to meet Santa at the Aylmer Bandshell. Those who come out to the parade to watch as well as those entering a float are asked to bring nonperishable food donations that will go support the Aylmer Corner Cupboard.
myFM will be participating on Saturday, so keep an eye out for our new Disbrowe Community Cruiser in the parade.
