The St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation’s “Harvest Moon” black tie gala raised $120,000 this year. The 7th annual signature gala in October featured the St. Anne’s Centre decorated in an autumn theme and guests treated to a fall harvest dinner.
There were games, a silent auction and prizes throughout the evening. The foundation brought back the mystery doors that were a big hit last year which saw 5 lucky winners have unlock the doors to great prizes. The funds from this year’s gala will be going to support the diagnostic imaging services in the hospital.
This year’s total brings the gala has raised over $600,000 for the hospital since 2013.
