The City’s Civic Awards date and location for this year has been finalized. The honours and awards committee has announced that the awards will be taking place on Wednesday December 11, 2019 at the St. Thomas-Elgin Public Art Centre. The awards night and dinner recognizes peer to peer accomplishments in the community.
City Councillor and Committee Member Lori Baldwin-Sands says that the whole process shows her how special the community is.
Baldwin-Sands says that the awards night is open to the public. Tickets to the night will soon be available through the Parks and Recreation office.
