ST. THOMAS HIT BY ROTATING POSTAL STRIKES 11/6/2018 11:57:49 AM
Rotating strikes for Canada Post workers are into their third week.
The walkouts have now made it locally as workers from St. Thomas are on the picket lines today (November 6th).
Local CUP-W 610 President, James Gordon says there is one clear reason why they are on the picket line.
Gordon adds they have gone through 3 restructures pertaining to postal transformation and a big issue is the community mailbox program.
Gordon mentions that they are fighting for health and safety issues that have come up because of the downsizing in staff.
