SHOPLIFTER ARRESTED AT WALMART

A Port Stanley man has been arrested for shoplifting at Walmart.
        
The Loss Prevention Officer witnessed the man leave the store Wednesday night (September 12) with close to $100 worth of items from the meat department that he did not pay for.
       
The man dropped the bag and attempted to ride away on his bike when approached outside of the store.
         
St. Thomas Police located the man a short distance away and placed him under arrest. Police say that the man was also on security video stealing goods from the Canadian Tire on Tuesday (September 11).
         
The 36 year old man has been charged with two counts of theft under $5,000.
