AUTO SHOP HAS 20K MERCHANDISE STOELN OVER WEEKEND

An auto shop in the east end of the City had over $20,000 of merchandise stolen from it over the weekend. Police say that the business on Burwell Road had been locked at 1 p.m. on Saturday (August 4).   
        
Employees on Monday morning (August 6) returned to find that the back door had been pried open. Four diesel transmissions, 4 diesel performance converters and a diagnostic computer were reported as stolen.
            
The Police would like to speak to anyone who may have any information on this theft. If you have any information you're asked to contact the St. Thomas Police or Crime Stoppers.
