STUDENTS READY TO LAUNCH BUSINESSES THIS SUMMER 7/5/2018 10:20:42 AM
It's a chance for students to experience entrepreneurship first-hand.
Fourteen students between the ages of 15-29 are running businesses this summer as part of the Summer Company program put on by the Elgin-St. Thomas Small Business Enterprise Centre.
Business Advisor Mike Kerkvliet says there's a wide-range of businesses on board this summer.
Each student receives $1,500 towards their business at the start of the summer and if they complete the program, they'll receive another $1,500 at the end of the summer.
