6/11/2018 10:31:55 AM

While we'll now be seeing in blue in the province of Ontario, and here in the Elgin-Middlesex-London riding, that's not how the younger electorate saw things going.

More than 2800 schools, representing all 124 electoral districts, took part in a mock election called Student Vote Ontario.

Provincewide, students voted for the NDP to get 66 votes at Queens Park, and the Ontario PC's to receive 45.

In Elgin-Middlesex-London, 1,476 votes were casted, and PC Jeff Yurek still came away on top with 39% of the vote. Amanda Stratton was a close second with 36.5% of the vote. The Greens finished third locally, while the Liberals finished in 4th.
