The Great Lakes International Airshow makes its return to the St. Thomas skies this weekend! The show is running on Saturday and Sunday (June 16, 17) at the St. Thomas Municipal Airport. The show will have the Canadian Snowbirds and the CF-18 Hornet performing. A Vintage Spitfire and Vampire will also be performing.
Airshow Operations Director Mark Sargent says that having both planes flying at the same time is very rare.

Sargent says that they have set up the airshow in a way that will hopefully encourage more people to get into the aviation industry. There will also be lots of static displays that will allow people to get up close and personal with some planes.
