PUBLIC MEETING FOR PROPOSED ALMA COLLEGE DEVELOPMENT
5/14/2018 7:44:29 PM

A public meeting is taking place on June 11th regarding the proposed residential development at the former Alma College grounds. The meeting is relating to the proposed zoning bylaw amendment for the grounds at 96 Moore Street.

Loewith and Greenberg Development is planning on building 3 separate buildings with 400 total units. The rentals would be luxury high end lifestyle units meant for young professionals, empty nesters and everyone in between.

The land is currently zoned as a "fifth residential" and as an "open park space" zone. This relates back to a decision made by council in 1999 to implement a development proposal that is no longer relevant.

The public meeting will take place at City Hall on June 11th at 5 p.m.
