City Councillor Mark Tinlin is seeking reelection in this fall's municipal election. This is Tinlin's first term serving on St. Thomas City Council. Previous to St. Thomas, Tinlin served on the South Frontenac Township as a councillor and the deputy Mayor.
Tinlin says that he has decided to run for councillor again because he likes the direction that the current council is going in.
Tinlin says that he has been proud to be a part of a number of projects on the current council like the new veterans memorial garden, the gateway roundabout and the redevelopment in the west end of Talbot Street.
Petrusia Hontar and Steve Peters are also running for councillor positions.
