ARREST MADE FOLLOWING VEHICLE THEFTS

St. Thomas Police have charged a male for allegedly stealing from vehicles. Police were called early Saturday morning (May 12) after reports of a person going through vehicles in the southwest end of the City. Police have arrested a 28 year old male who they says is responsible.
           
The male is charged with one count of trespassing at night, theft under $5,000, breach of probation and possession of break in tools.
           
There have been a number of calls made to police about vehicle and shed breaks ins in this area of the City. Police encourage you to contact them if your vehicle or shed is broken into during the night. They are also reminding you not to leave any valuables in your car and encourage you to keep any sheds locked.
