TIME CHANGE BRINGS REMINDER FROM FIRE DEPARTMENT
3/9/2018 10:16:33 AM

Back to the future.

This Sunday (March 12) at 2 a.m. clocks will spring forward one hour.

The St. Thomas Fire department would also like to remind the community to take the time and change the batteries in your carbon monoxide detector and fire alarm. If you are unable to do so the fire department will install new batteries for free. You can call them at 519-631-0210 to arrange for a time for them to stop by.

Tampering with or removing the batteries from your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms is against the law. Failure to follow the Fire Code can result in a ticket for $360 or a fine of up to $50,000.
