POLICE LOOKING TO IDENTIFY WALMART THEFT SUSPECT

St. Thomas Police are looking for the public's assistance in identifying a female they say stole from Walmart. The incident happened on Sunday (March 4) around 6:20 p.m. at the Walmart in St. Thomas. The woman allegedly tried to leave with a shopping cart worth of goods valued at $1,555.23.
      
When confronted by employees the woman allegedly left the cart behind and fled the store.
       
The woman is described as having long brown hair with blonde streaks in it. She was wearing a purple coat that had fur on it, blue jeans and black boots.
        
She was seen getting into a silver Dodge Caravan waiting for her outside.
         
If you know who the woman may be or her whereabouts you're asked to contact the St. Thomas Police or Crime Stoppers.
