Ontario Progressive Conservative leadership candidate Caroline Mulroney says she sought her mother's advice before entering the race.
The 43-year-old Mulroney says they discussed the impacts of political life on a family since both women are the mothers of four children.
She adds that she talked more extensively with her mother Mila than she did her father -- former prime minister Brian Mulroney -- before entering political life.
Elgin-Middlesex-London MPP is throwing his support behind Mulroney in the Leadership race. He says from he gathers, there is no clear front-runner for the leadership quite yet.

Speaking at a major gathering of Canada's conservatives in Ottawa today, Mulroney also said she believes Ontario's P-Cs must be a "big tent" party where diverse views are heard and welcome.
Christine Elliott and Doug Ford are the only other candidates in the race so far to replace former leader Patrick Brown.
The new leader will be revealed on March 10th.
