DEATHS ON OPP ROADWAYS INCREASE IN 2017
1/8/2018 12:13:27 PM
341 people died on OPP patrolled roads last year.
That's up 11 percent compared to 2016.
Sgt. Kerry Schmidt says most deaths come down to one of four reasons.
2016 saw 307 fatalities, which is still far too many on our roads.
Sgt. Schmidt would like to remind Ontarians to always buckle their seat belt, never drive impaired, drive defensive and according to conditions and to most importantly pay attention while driving.
