Striking faculty members are being urged by their union to reject the latest contract offer from the council representing Ontario's 24 colleges.
The professors, instructors, counsellors and librarians walked off the job October 15th.
The College Employer Council has asked the Ontario Labour Relations Board to schedule a vote on its latest offer.
Ontario Public Service Employees Union president Warren ``Smokey'' Thomas says the council should return to the bargaining table while the labour board prepares for the vote.
The colleges' bargaining team says the council has addressed the union's concerns about job security, wages and academic freedom.
