A traffic stop over the weekend has led to a long list of drug related charges for three people.
St. Thomas Police stopped a vehicle Saturday (Oct 7) morning shortly after 8, for a Highway Traffic Act offence.
During the investigation the driver was searched, officers located some crystal methamphetamine, a quantity of ammunition and empty gun holsters. A passenger of the vehicle was also arrested and searched. Police found a large amount of Canadian currency on him.
Based on what Police found in the car, police obtained a search warrant for a local house. A search of the home resulted in the seizure of a large quantity of an unknown white substance, various pills, a small quantity of crystal methamphetamine and cannabis. Also, 2 replica firearms were also found and seized.   
The two men from the vehicle are now facing multiple charges, including; Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
A third person, who was the owner of the house, has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
The unknown white substance will be sent to a lab for further analysis to determine what it is. Police say more charges are possible, pending the outcome.
